HET HERT MILL
The national monument reminds you of the time when the wheat fields were the dominant feature of the Puttereng. The name refers to the municipal coat of arms on the mill, in which a deer appears. The mill is still used to grind grain such as barley, maize and wheat for consumption and animal feed.

They expanded the farm and beautified it. This laid the foundation for the country estate called Salentein. The building is recognized as a national monument because of its age, architecture and characteristic location. The yard and the park, two bridges, a coach house with shed, a threshing mill, a double staff residence, a burial vault and a garden wall with shed have been recognized as national monuments as well.

WILBRINKBOS
Old trees and gnarly tree stumps provide a special atmosphere you can feel in the Wilbrinkbos. Locally, the forest is known as "Het Heuveltjesbos" because of the characteristic sand hills. The trail on this sand embankment is deeply worn by the many hikers and mountain bikers who appreciate this hilly landscape. Due to the intensive use, many tree roots are above ground, which produces beautiful photo opportunities.
